there is some truth in that zamb! i have grown up around jamaican families,some of my dearest friends are from yard.In london,street slang is an amalgamation of patois,cockney and words from other etinic backgrounds.
Its rather entertaining when i talk patois and they reply in greek!
Although i sound nothing like a jamaican in reality
