Looks great. Wish I could see more of what was happening up top. But your hand/camera/cropping is obstructing the view.

so details, the jeans are april 77, kind of velvety fabric that I like but am always afraid makes me look fat
sweater is second hand patrizia peppe (it's actually supposed to be worn tighter, it's too big for me but I prefer it this way)
shirt is a big pierre cardin that I found for like 5 euros in a thrift shop. I like the ivory colour

NOT sz approved brands I'm afraid

The last bit of your statement could have had an alternative ending that some of us might have found interesting.

mailmoth - is the coat GBS? is it lined or unlined? itchy or no?

                  just curious...

Yes it is GBS. It is not lined. I can't say if it's really itchy or not, for as you see, I don't go naked under my coat

More seriously, this is a very soft and comfy lanacotta - just makes you want to stroke it all day long

Ok, I think I'd better go for some really resistant underwear then

I owe you a picture of a GB Small outfit as soon as I get my camera back. I see you have some of the trouble I have with that coat. It's so hard to wear it anyway but all the way closed up, or at least flat without the collar taking on some kind of aggressive life of its own.

Yes, it is harder to pull off than I thought : you can't really leave it open, and if you button it all the way with the collar left down, it looks extremely strict and constrictive.
And with the collar popped up, it really looks dramatic.

But what is interesting is to pop it up anyway to let it place itself naturally as you're wearing the coat. As you see in the picture, it bends down in the end, in my case assymetricaly (which I like). Leaving the last button open and create a lapel is interesting too, given you are wearing something strong enough under the coat. I believe the cap helps a great deal too, because it makes a good counterpoint to this big, capricious collar.
