the footwear is indeed the most challenging part.

I did have quite a love affair with this final collection, even if I haven't bought much from it; I did want to pay it my respect.

would love to see how you wear the piece[s]. are you adamant about making the look totally your own or do you some take silhouette and stylistic cues from the runway?
i wore it with a dd f/w 08 blazer that is slanted and enchanted at the base like the trousers...with a black carpe shirt underneath. once i saw the collection i realized the stylizing was genius and later like a good magic trick because when i brought them home everything (esp. the boots) i thought i could wear them with from my exhaustive, trendy wardrobe failed. that's when i sought the help of the forum... i think they work the guidi black back zips basically come up to the level of the pant, with the rear of the boot almost grinding like tectonic plates as you walk

Andrew - love it all, even the shoes. My first reaction was similar to everyone else's, but it somehow takes on a gothic Mozart look, which works.
Edit - love all the bits you are wearing, but somehow feels like everything's a tad too big? Maybe it's just the huge head that throws me off.

Ann Fall 09 + dirty mirror. CLICK for the full silhouette. Still can't find a spot in my apt lit well enough to show the small details.

Thank you. My photographic skills are slowly approaching something resembling reflection of reality, although they are still light years away from depicting the real thing, unfortunately.
