Junya Watanabe houndstooth cocoon sweater, thrown over a Rick Owens sheer knit top. Fraying black skirt is an early Marni piece. Boots, Ilaria Nistri.

Boot can be tied numerous ways with two lengths of leather strap extending from the back slits. Genius. I've had some rather memorable moments in these boots.

JOOP scarf, DH by Hedi coat, DBSS jeans, cheap Belmondo side-zip combats which I regret buying. Quality just sucks... Should've paid 100€ and get some good boots off yoox.
what boots are you referring to out of curiosity?

interest, this is my favorite from you. the junya top is mindblowing. and those boots are fantastic, I especially like the dislodged-looking heel. Mona said it best, you work with volume (and silhouette) in an impressive way.

mona- I like it. As you said, the skirt in grey would technically make the look more cohesive, but I think the black is just fine. I like your polish choice as well. Your last few waywt posts have inspired me to seek out some paler colours to round out my wardrobe.

interest- the junya cocoon is beautiful, as is the heel on those boots.

I'm indeed wearing head to toe dandy yoda, but I guess is pointless for me to say it. The overlock knit is pre 2005, the yamamoto house is full of these kind of details that get lost in the internet.
Excellent, I love the silhouette. I need those suspender pants in my life. Good to see something from the archives, they don't make them like that anymore!

I concur with everyone regarding Interest. Such a wonderful sense of proportion and elegance!

And Wire... so dandy, I love it all. You wear Yohji incredibly well!

Thanks for the compliments, everyone. Perhaps I shall post more often in here. The boots, by the way, DO repel rain! AND keep my feet warm. GENIUS! I cannot stop wearing them, and I intend to keep it that way. Softest last i've worn since Carpe Diem. *sigh*

Wow, fabulous! Wire and Interest, my favorites from both of you!

Mononon, I also like what you've got goin on, even if it is a bit basic...

and Mona I like the long skirt, not something I would expect from you, but I'm really feeling the length for some reason...
