What does being a better person has to do with religious guilt,
and if there was, what would so wrong with that?

Think it was about NOT being a good person (TBD).
Also, let's put this into perspective, owm is doing this by Reading operating manuals. Sounds like a solid start to an enlightened life to me that should be pretty much guilt and religion free.
Hi. I like your necklace. - It's actually a rape whistle, but the whistle part fell off.

well put...the initial sally could only have been effective as vindictive sarcasm intended to bring about the result it was purportedly avoiding...

To a certain extent, yes, but not in a vindictive way, I was just looking for some sunday afternoon discourse while waiting for my roast chicken to finish cooking.

Nice outifit Eternal, I think that the Samurai would look better with looser pants (to weaken the bell bottom) though.
On Christian's pic: my long sweater and coat are from Damir.

well you wont get that...........I dont sit around a computer screen looking for people to cyber debate with. I happen to have more important things that I do.....

its a shame that I really made a genuine compliment about something I truly support and it had to be dragged down into some kind of "here we go again drainhole"

Religion is an important part of our lives and our existence in one way or another, whether we subscribe to it or not, unavoidable in the same way breathing air is unavoidable, I dont see why people start getting animated and agitated if and when the subject comes up.............regardless of who raises it.

Guilt, religious or otherwise, is a necessary mechanism to help us strive to be the best we can be as humans (shouldn't be the only means, nor a persistent one), so I dont see it as being bad, nor did the goodly Gentleman suggest anything as such. the man who lives a completely guiltless life is dishonest with himself and will always be reckless and destructive, as that which would help him to strive for ultimate good, would have either been suppressed or destroyed altogether

Anyways, got really important things to do today so I won't spend any time on this.

              O.W.M.
My words to you were really sincere and had nothing to them more than a kind acknowledgment from a man who is also striving to be a better person in every aspect of his existence..........

"Become better" meant actually increase his income in selling crack. So, this discussion is pointless, but nobody knows.
