Good thinking, merkuri. Maybe they are, depending on how you want to see it. Margiela has always made a point of working with a team and the company was not repositioned to be a barneys coop line. I'd say the jury is out on that one. Helmuts case is a much clearer one.

I wasnt around for helmut so most of it although I can appreciate it, is not for me. I can however see the decline in standards between 'real helmut' and the current stuff, this jacket however seems to be above what the company has become and although I can think of far nicer jackets I think it may be unfair to completely disregard it due to its origin.
