Dim Mak's authorship of said textile text is less important than my own critical reading of it. I'm glad you chose not to include the names of the designers, however, for what does the name of an author on the jacket matter?

Dim: super le pardessus. Hmm j'ai lu pas mal de Derrida mais pas tout alors je n'en dirai pas plus.

One big, happy, CCP family, love it.

Oh and for some reason the camera makes BSR look pudgy, he's not pudgy so I blame the hat.

Of course with the boots, it's more 'renegade priest', which is infinitely better.
Simplicity's always the hardest thing to get right. And you've succeeded.

BTW, did you ever find the Rozae Nichols top for your wife?

scott.m – Hopefully, the morning wasn't too cruel for you. I thought you said you were 18 in the Food thread, no? If yes, then my apologies for calling you "uber" young. Super-duper would've been way more accurate.

BTW, young & immature are two very different things. You may've just added the latter to your resume judging by your last post.

SHYE_POSER– Perhaps the cinema thread would be a good place to wax poetic on that documentary. I'm sure we'd have a few takers. Though something tells me NetFlix didn't pick that one up..

merz – your timing, impeccable–as always.

        .
I think some English scholar once said "a dirty word for a dirty place." It is considered the foulest word in the English language for some reason and that is quite interesting IMHO. In french it's so casual you can use it as an insult (means an idiot) in a family movie. It even has a "feminine" version when discussing females.Yeah "cunt" is a masculine word in french, oh the joys of language!

I probably say "cunt" at least 10 times/day but in english I dunno if I'd be that carefree with its usage.

It's the kind of word you need a certain aura to pull it off, otherwise it sounds ridiculous. Imagine someone like Ian McShane is the ideal figure for its usage. I can't, so I stay away.

Jogu: I got it from a member here, Mass, quite a while ago. I'm not sure where he got it from. It was a grail and I was going to say that I also haven't seen many others of these coats, but with Killah's post...

But yeah, I don't think its your coat cause your comment about a tear had me compulsively checking my coat, but I didn't find anything. And thank as well, the bag was necessary as I was lugging a lot of stuff that day

Killah: As I said on Sufu...looks good!

Delirium: Thanks, my photos leave a lot to be desired. To clarify, if anyone can't deciver the dark blob that is me, I'm wearing : Raf Simons coat / Helmut Lang waxed jeans and bag / Yohji Yamamoto boots.

Fuuma – in reference to your "his & hers" cunts, does that mean it's la cunt for the ladies, and le cunt for gents?

Well nouns in french have a gender. For example:

                              A table=une table (feminine)
                              A bird= un oiseau (masculine)
                              so:
                              a cunt=un con (masculine)
                              A male idiot=un con (masculine)
A female idiot =une conne (feminized version)
a bunch of idiots (at least one dude or generally speaking)=des cons (masculine)

You can say "le con" or "la conne", respectively masculine and feminine.

Hmm what am I teaching here. Sorry guys.
