A bon entendeur...

"AVANT GUARDE HIGHEST FASHION. NOW NOW this is it people, these are the brands no one fucking knows and people are like WTF. they do everything by hand in their freaking secret basement and shit."
got all dolled up for an e-date with an sz friend and had to cancel because I spent 2 hrs on the phone with a large client threatening to fire us. Fantastic start to a holiday weekend.
this is weird, you don't look uncomfortable in that outfit mike, but it really doesn't 'fit' you from my perspective - to pull that off without being a tenuous tomgirl is difficult; dunno what to recommend though, maybe a more formal top? (something to echo the lines and structure of the skirt) and sandals that don't climb your ankle would complement the length of the skirt much better (long skirt and short sandals, short skirt and tall sandals)
Mike,
That's a tough one to pull off. Hat's off to you for going for it.
The skirt has a really feminine feel to it (flowy pleats as opposed to some of the rougher, shorter kilt-like CDG 'man skirts' I've seen worn).
My preference would be to see it toughened up a bit with some harder lines with the top or with the footwear. It's all very elegant, but almost too soft from top to bottom or the male form maybe.
I've never seen a WAYWT from you that I haven't liked or thought was well done and this isn't really my area of expertise (Heirloom has done some more feminine looks that I really like but beyond that...)
I think I'm just waiting for a rougher side to jump out and it's not there so it takes me a little aback.
