okay so i had a day off today and dressed up like that, but it ended raining so i stayed inside...i would like the people opinion on if the shorts with only a tank top looks too girly?

Would maybe work better with some high boots as a contrast?! Those sharp shoes do nothing good for the overall silhouette IMO - I find these rather feminine than the tank+shorts combo.
Gotta change the footwear...

Plus, I find the shorts really ... short maybe add a longer vest or sth at the upper part. Might look good. Like on the pic some posts above...

The only problem I see here is the length of the shorts. When I tried them on they looked very short being the same length as my boxer shorts... Plus, if you are rather tall they look even shorter...

saw interest1 only lace the top holes.. thought it was a good idea, to create the illusion of long laces, as i couldnt find any long enough as the originals, and also keeps the top (opening) looking slim and narrow, as opposed to no laces

what if you do the straight bar lace? it makes the laces look long but has more support than what you have?
