wiggles fair play on mixing it up; popping the collar on that polo with a sheer stripe drape cardi, nasty colour layering? and do you really walk around with trainers unzipped ?
christian that picture is awesome lol , looks like it could be an advert
i like wiggles 2nd fit , i dont rly like red and black where red is a focal point ( i kno its popular on here but personally i dislike it ) so i like that the maroon is just a pop of color under the grey polo . u wash ur sneaks too ? they look mad clean now lol
thanks everyone for the input! i do wear my ricks unzipped, snaf, i've gone through all the other ways of wearing them and this is where i've landed for the time being. thanks jogu! i didn't wash the sneaks, no, i just had to crank up the exposure on this one to get the details more visible. you think so, kbi? maybe from the wearer's perspective the line between too much and just enough is harder to see
I think I really just hate the rick trainers more and more each time I see them.
I'm still trying to figure out the appeal.
also the popped collar is just.. I'm not really sure how to describe it. The outfit looks confused and just kinda thrown together, would've been better with these though
^^i'm not sure if you're joking or not about the ch x rick sneakers, personally i think they're an abomination. i was playing with the collar earlier, and down it looked too strange with the neck opening of the cardigan (it's very rectangular when closed, looks weird with the curved lines of the collar). although i can entirely see why you'd dislike the combo, kunk, i think it looked pretty solid personally - the polo isn't as opaque in person, if that changes anything
Popped collar aside, it just reminds me of what Robert Smith was doing around 1982. And I think Robert was popping his collar there for a while, for better or worse.
