those are the only version of Ricks sneakers I would wear, and I would wear them exactly has you have them now...................
My only issue is that I cannot bring my mind to buying something for so much that i know the sole is not going to last....................

Zamb, you can get soles put on them, just like any other boots, just treat the rubber as you would the stacked leather, don't let it touch the ground, and you're golden. ;) They'd look awesome on you.

Zam, I added a thin sole to the entire bottom since day one, and I have all the confidence that it's gonna last me awhile. And should this added sole wear out, I'll just slap on a new one

I'm really glad I got these before Rick introduces the new sole in the fall. Don't like the looks of those, and it'll be tricky to add any type of sole protection too.

Eternal, i'll be honest, this is one of the rare pics i like from you. I usually find your fits quite "gauche, maladroits" but this one fits you really well, and i like the color matching.
