bsr nailed it. i was still seeing people in the metro wearing winter coats and scarves in june.

now i am back in texas, where seeing someone walking around shirtless is normal.

i think i prefer paris.

few people would prefer texas over... well, anywhere except maybe kentucky.

I'm wearing the same pants today. It's one of my favourite piece - if not the favourite - even though I don't wear it a lot (once a year). But some garments don't need to be worn much...

Damir is great, but YY is God - and does not need any prophet.

I bought these trousers during the SS 08 winter sale, because YY prices were - are ? - insane and because I had at that time some mental restrictions about expensive prices . I missed the ones I really wanted though, because I thought that nobody would buy them at retail (they were huge - size 4 - and more expensive than expensive), but some African guy did it a few days before the sales : people from Zaire are found of YY.
Now, two years later, I've found the trousers I've missed, thanks to Torchiere and Hide-san (and thanks too to wire.artist to be away from the computer unless I wouldn't ever have been abble to get them ).
Heavy and dark green fabric, no suspenders, two huge pockets on the side and 72 buttons (!!!). Should receive them soon.

Yeah, Austin. Austin is nice, too sprawling, but fun. I'd probably like to spend 3-4 more days in Austin in my life. The rest of texas (I've traveled widely in Texas), well, I'll be happy if I never see it again.

christian, your 2nd pic shows much more of the pants than the runway pic. i didnt recognize it to be slimmer at the shin area, reminds me of that yohan serfaty pants i didnt get on yahoo.. great!

Beautiful pants, Christian. Both of them. What fabric are your suspender pants? I'm looking for a pair like yours, or in grey. Beating myself now for missing out on the grey cotton ones wire sold some time ago. I have a pair of black linen suspender pants and they're truly amazing.
