The CCP jacket seems to fit spot on HDG. Not sure I like the Damir shirt underneath it though. The dick flap looks a bit sloppy juxtaposed against the structure of the suit jacket. Never really liked the colour of those ann boots either, mostly because I would find it terribly hard to find anything to wear them with. They would typically be the piece to 'pop' as you say, but here the red flap is doing that.

HDG, nice on top, but the jeans are a bit tight for my liking. I would prefer to see something a bit more elegant as a pant, perhaps a cropped trouser, as right now it looks as if the top half of your body is competing with the bottom half... as if 2 different styles are clashing with each other. Also, I like the splash of color, it seems to suit your personality nicely.

A hoodie over dress shirt is a pretty standard hipster uniform in NYC. I am stating a fact, not an opinion. I fail to see a hoodie in the picture you posted. But if you take offence at my comment, I no longer wish to comment - I view my criticisms as constructive, and if you don't want to take them this way, then I'd rather not comment at all.

P.S. I don't know why your post requires moderation. Same thing happened to endersgame - I'll look into that.

hm. not sure if i'd be classified a, uh, hipster..but about half of my wardrobe consists of something that could very well be a hoodie/button-up combination. what that says i'm not at all certain

hmm... sometimes I think hoodie and a button-up worn together can look fantastic. case in point: cloak FW04.
