Thanks Johnny. The jacket is CDGH+, and the jeans are... Paul Smith. Very old stuff, decades old now, but I still wear them from time to time. I think they find their place here.

Premierminister, I agree with Lowrey, you have to do something to create some contrast. Not too sure about the footwear also.

Yes, forget about the shirt. It's too monotone with the pants and I will return it. Looks like a pyama.

      But suggest some footwear!

Not a big fan of black shoes with grey pants in general. Maybe colored shades of grey would work a bit better. Not fond of the shape of those shoes either : they look too flat and wide compared with the leg opening, but it may simply be an exaggeration due to the angle.

Just having another look at these post's and keep being drawn to back Jogu's image...

It's just epic, on most levels it simply shouldn't work, but it does, big time.

Amongst other factors attitude is possibly what carries it through, but to capture that in an image is no easy task. Nice one Jogu

Jogu, this is art. IIRC I said it before... I could imagine an exhibition with your WAYWT pictures.

Premier, to me the pants look too massive in context. In the third picture you look totally overweight (and you know that I know that you aren't ) Love the shades of grey, though.

Jogu, +1. haunting and poetic, even for Jogu.

Fantastic discussion on the last few pages (made a nice return from a small hiatus :)

"That's just something that artists made up to feel good about their shitty work."

Indeed. I think the question is less about pure subjectivity (which we, among others, can debate endlessly) than what makes a critical perspective valid (and perhaps worthwhile) in the first place. Such as, for example, dynamism. Like in Jogu's fit.

Thanks. I laid my eyes on a pair of grey CCP zip boots. But meanwhile I will destroy the look with my new RO high tops ;-))
