just thought to point out that the trousers aren't hex cash, but a wool-linen-poly individual sentiments j-shape sort of pattern. not that you can see it that well in the photo, but they're remarkable both in texture and silhouette.
so you were the one who bought Y's IndySents pants! I wish they made it in a size 1
An object in possession seldom retains the same charm that it had in pursuit.
I love how this thread explodes in just a few hours.
For the record.. my comment was regarding my own personal style and preferences. Not judgement towards others.
That is what most are doing. It is difficult to leave personal preferences out of one's judgements and not really a problem if not, like in this case, the own personal, and sometimes just current taste dominates so much that it would destroy a functioning whole.
Beautiful picture. HOFer right there. The fit of the pants really work to highlight the unique silhouette of the work coat. And having seen the coat in person, I can see why you paired things to accentuate it. Very nice Q!
idk i tend to side with macro/mike on this...skinny jeans as a lifestyle choice is a bit of a cop-out, like saying I only dress from the waist up. the same skinny jean and turn of the century cuban heels applied to every outfit comes across like the body as a coat hanger more than anything, showcasing a singular piece rather than the outfit as a whole. I don't think its a question of choosing sides, drop crotch or skinny. just more towards the overall outfit and how you play out the proportions. It reminds me a lot of these sort of fashion types that run around during paris fashion week..
dubed the 'avante garde' by bloggers and the like; their outfits always strike me as being identical, and decorative.
anyways, more fuel to the fire..
have you been to the store you used to work at? talk about fashion types.. it's so west hollywood you might as well call it American Idol. Everything is perfectly weho.. everyone that works there, basically all the regulars, the attitude, the too old to be doing this but got the money so I will etc.. and I don't want to forget .. the I don't know wtf this is but it's expensive and has alligator or snake skin or is extremely dirty looking so I'll do it even though it's a 52 and it makes me look like I'm a gay alligator aficionado and no one should be getting this in a 52 or look like a gay gator aficionado because it's not the point.
glass house andrew, we're all a part of it so watch that rock...
on a related note I saw Merz tonight, perfectly dressed as usual. Skinny pants, like myself but he definitely looked better in his.
ps Eternal great look, I wish I could grow my hair...
Obviously what I meant to say was you look comfortable in what you are wearing in that picture. The rick comment was a joke.
Woooooords, don't come eeeeeaaaasy to meeeeeee.
Hi. I like your necklace. - It's actually a rape whistle, but the whistle part fell off.
