Birdy - I think you need to wear some rick dropcrotches, some wider pants, or some pants in a more sumptuous material. I can't tell whether its the contrast between the denim/crocskin or shrinkwrapped jeans/architectural jacket, but right now, you're not wearing your clothes, your clothes are wearing you.
Don't take that too negatively, the jacket is awesome, and when you find pants that work with it, the fit will be epic.
Also, you may want to play with the zipper/buttons.
