Bakla: solid wardrobe my friend. You pay special attention to the neck area (collars, turtlenecks, layers) and it gives a very interesting effect.

            viv1984viv..

its nice how you get the viridi-anne hooded scarf vest from japan by way of los angeles by way of norway. I'm guessing some of our garments have circumnavigated the globe several times over in their brief existence.

            [/quote]

errrrr, yeah, although seeing as I buy japanese jeans that are woven and constructed in japan ( unlike gap, that would be woven in god-knows-where before constructed in mauritius before reaching the highstreet ) id like to think overall my carbon footprint is balanced out?!?! Probably not - but its a nice lil bubble of denial id like to keep ;-)

I really want a new coat.

yeah Daniel the fit on that entire ensemble is spot on, proportions are really perfect.

RADO i'd love to see a pic of that outfit, it sounds great, something like a minimalist rendition of 60's Mick Jagger.

Sleazie: I am slowly retiring from the Hong Kong party circuit, it does not do much for me any more. On Saturday i went to a friend's birthday party at this small club called Bed, i assume inspired by that SATC episode...the music was hip hop and R&B which i usually dig but the song selection was absolute crapola. I've been to Kee Club once, was invited by a friend of mine from overseas who's a member there. It's a cool place to lounge and chill, but not exactly a party staple. Never even been to hei hei. But my last stretch of regular clubbing (last fall), i went to Beijing Club quite a bit. It was decent, if a bit crowded when it first opened, but now when i pass by the crowd looks kinda iffy so i don't really bother. Happens to most clubs here that blow up.

Thanks for the kind words, guys. It's starting to really warm up here in LA, and I'm really starting feel uninspired. Gone are the coats and scarfs and gloves. In with boring shirts and pants. :( Or maybe its just that my summer style blows :P

I think any time you reduce the number of articles of clothing that it is feasible to wear, the possibilities for style versatility decrease as well...so it isn't just you. A t-shirt and jeans just doesn't offer the possibility that a dress shirt, sweater, coat, and pants would...
