same criticism as mentioned previous - looks pretty arbitrary. randomly tossed together looks are more appealing in a grungy i dont give a fuck light. this looks like u give a fuck but arent particularly good at it. and then the point becomes moot because 15 year old kids who shop at forever 21 end up dressing better than u. id work on your cohesiveness or become a more convincing slob.

Shirt is too long. There is long and then there is a dress.Fashion is a form of ugliness so intolerable that we have to alter it every six months - Oscar Wilde

^ lulz.. I buy those specifically to wear as dresses..
acm,
◂lay your shirt flat on a table
◂fold it in half vertically down the center
◂measure about 6-8" up from the hem; mark that point on each side in pencil
◂cut straight across w/ a pair of sharp scissors, from mark to mark
Done. From dress to t-shirt in under 2 minutes.
Don't stress if it looks choppy – the raw hem will curl after the first washing.
Even though this one appears to have a finished hemline ( I can't tell because your photos are often blurrier than if I'd had 6 cocktails), understand that Rick purposefully makes his tops extra long and deliberately leaves the edges raw on most, the intention being for the wearer to cut them to their desired liking.
★running with scissors is perfectly allowed in Rick's world★.

It's true, unless you're dealing with double layers.
The draping effect resulting from the upper left corner of the shirt does make it look a bit more like an evening gown than what is necessary. I think that's your biggest problem with this shirt.Originally posted by philip nodsomebody should kop this. this is forever.

acm- i had considered getting that rick top but the shoulder seams kept making it feel like i was wearing the shirt backwards and even in the dressing room i kept fiddling with the shoulders. how has it been for you? i think again you're suffering from proportion problems where your legs look quite small in length because if the elongate tee and high boot.
also with most rick tees i would be all for cutting them but if i am correct this shirt is hemmed and if you cut it i think it will mess up the diagonal drape across the chest because it requires that hem. with that said i wouldnt cut this partical tee. try wrapping it around your body a bit so it fits tighter and will bunch up a bit higher. thats what i do with most of my rick tees so i dont look like i'm wearing a sheer maxi dress.Last edited by messenoire; 09-27-2011, 07:43 PM.
