I don't know, the heavy stacking of the leather pants makes
them the loud part of the outfit and what draws my attention.

^ I like they way they stack so heavily. Most folks wearing leather pants don't have them stack so much (or they inherently do not have a long inseam). The stacking to me helps break up the typical sharp stark lines of leather pants and softens the look... makes them that much more casual.

Agree, I really like this and the boots breaks it up really well. I hope to pick up a pair of deep oxblood/burgundy soon for something similar. Rest looks good but I miss the details we got to see last time around!

But those are brogues ! And the answer is thus no. I could also go for longer pants, that's what I usually do, but I've been wanting to try this for quite a while. And I like the result, honestly. You just have to wear the proper socks. Woolen ones in burgundy or moss green would have been interesting here, I think.
