kira, the thought of wearing a Rick Owens skirt and silk leggings would have me personally terrified, but you balanced it all so nicely with the layered jackets! [51]

I'm an accidental homage to Margiela today:

dusty blue t-shirt with padded sleeves

dusty brown, very fitted denim pencil skirt

mud-stained purple suede wedges

off-black opaques

navy cropped and boxy peacoat w/big collar and lots of snaps

all various lines of MMM, with exception of tights....

No pic [:$], but here are the skirt and tee:

...I mean the ephemeral, the fugitive, the contingent, the half of art whose other half is the eternal and the immutable.
Laika- Thank you very much, greatly appreciated coming from you. Yes, at first I thought the leggings and the skirt would not work, but surprisingly it was probably the most comfortable and tactilely satisfying outfits I have had on my body in a very long time. I enjoy your accidental homage to Margiela. Today have to stick with cheap destroyable [:(] black clothes for my one night I work in the bar...
Distraction is an obstruction of the construction.
I actually don't like the stretch pants underneath the skirt at all -- the color is too close to the color of the skirt, and it makes your lower half all blend together and look sort of messy. I think something with more color contrast would have highlighted the skirt better -- sheer tights maybe? (just imho)
lookin sharp kira. i loveeeee the long sleeves. its simple, but i find especially when women wear the long sleeves covering their whole hands (best achieved by rickers.) its such a slick look... always reminds me of my favorite lady:
