I guess it's impressive enough that they held up that well, but in a serious wreck I would have been all kinds of fucked. My mesh protective jacket suffered similar damage but I would have been a lot worse off without the armor.

I have to admit I often use very inadequate riding gear, but only when in low speed areas."AVANT GUARDE HIGHEST FASHION. NOW NOW this is it people, these are the brands no one fucking knows and people are like WTF. they do everything by hand in their freaking secret basement and shit."

kucejoe, those pants look quite comfortable. Loose pants are a new direction for you, no?
EDIT: I missed this first time around:

Kucejoe, that may be the first time I'm not entirely convinced by one of your outfits : I'd say the jacket, fit and fabric wise, doesn't match the relaxed, crumpled pants, nor does the association of the greyish upper with the burgundy bottom. I'm afraid those pants won't be an easy piece to pair with what you usually wear.
Rosenrot : this last one was daring. HOF for sure.
Wire.artist : you know wearing those pants and not taking a proper pic is pure provocation.
Today : the usual spring uniform with the usual slight variations.
I can see a hat, I can see a cat,
I can see a man with a baseball bat.

Fuck black
Rosenrot : great picture, but why in black and white ? Btw are you wearing golden leggins ?
Sergueyseven : I don't like BBS at all, but you always look very good in it.
Wire.artist : the hakama suit looks great, bit it's impossible to see anything.
Spring time is colour time.
EDIT : put another pic where the proportions of the cropped pants are shown a bit better.Last edited by Chant; 05-13-2012, 08:44 AM.

Magic1: Thanks. The trousers are by a designer named Levi Palmer from his Central Saint Martins graduate collection. The fabric is a wool / linen / metal mix so it is crumpled with a slight metallic sheen.
Mail-Moth: You make some good points. You are probably right about the t-shirt. I didn't want to pair the trousers with something else loose / crumpled / etc. I like the contrast of the clean blazer with the trousers and think the length of the blazer works well with the shape of the trousers. But together with the shirt, the upper half was probably too clean. I did try on a looser black shirt and that might have been a better choice. The trousers are not easy to integrate into my wardrobe, but they are fun to wear so I'll keep playing around and see what works.
Nice fit btw.
Christian: I kind of have to echo what Moth said about me and say this may be the first time I'm not entirely convinced. I just feel the mix of the drop crotch and where the trousers hit the boots is a bit off. Maybe the trousers should stack a bit? Maybe a different belt?

Christian, the photo is in greyscale simply because the clothes are black and white, while the leggings are liquid silver. By removing the colours I thought it's easier to concentrate on the clothes themselves.
On another note, the intensity of the red is disturbing, but I'm not disputing the overall silhouette.
Mail-Moth, thank you. I wish you'd put a less disturbing face on yourself.Originally posted by PatroklusBetter too adventurous than not enough

i'm not some kind of ccp's expert so i'll just say what i actually feel.
his stuff, and especially shoes look usually so "worn", passed, used etc. that i can't imagine them being such a bright and unusual color. i mean, i can't take it seriously, i'll be always concerned about those super strange stuff i'm walking with.
'm pretty sur you can make them work christian though;
so congrats.

Rosenrot - Wow, just plain wow. That is amazing and I personally would love to see the colour version of this photo. I imagine the liquid silver leggins must have looked great with the feel of the whole outfit.
Wire.artist - the silhouette is amazing, I concur Moth, a proper photo would be more than welcome!
Christian - I must agree with the above. I can't precisely point out why but there indeed is something wrong about the colours. It's not "in your face" wrong but it does strike me as odd and out of place.
Sergey - you aren't helping my love for BBS as of late, do you know that?
And to the less or more usuals, you are looking good as of late SZ :)
