The vest can look very cool over a long coat or parka though. I believe Carol wears it that way himself, and I've seen an employee at CCP wear it over a parachute parka which looked awesome.

^Thanks Rosenrot. I personally am in love with it. I love the drape and fabric and it's really quite beautiful in person. Might have gone a a tad overboard with the shoes though...ha.

I can also open the cardigan, which I like as well and am not sure if you guys would still see it as toga-esque. Maybe I could try pairing it with a pant next time as well and see how it works out.

There's a lot of potential in it, just a matter of playing around with other pieces to bring out the beautiful drapes. Trousers doesn't sound like a bad idea, alongside another layer of thin outerwear.
