I'm not averse to a sneakers+suit combo, but your pairing here seems a little disconcerting to me, hence why I wanted to hear your perspective. I believe it might have to do with the strong colour contrast. Have you got the same pair in black? The suit itself is fantastic, I love how it's confusing my brain.

But you're right, a few years ago, I would never have paired a dark suit with light shoes. It's one thing that we, Frenchmen, have learned here from the American members actually. And now we do it quite often, shamelessly.

thanks rilu, usually i wear a mute top but that one was the first time i bothered to buy a silk blend and it's ridiculously comfy. i don't see myself going back to cotton for a while now =P.

assuming that picture of jetlag is in paris, a fiesta is more than enough . having anything fast would be a pointless & frustrating experience i imagine, unless you like venturing out to the countryside often.

Christian, I guess there's a downside to being a giant after all .

I'm guessing the reasons why BSR's and Fuuma's fits work well are due to:

1. the casualness of the fits themselves
2. the intensity of the black complimenting the white sneakers
3. both

whereas your suit is a wee bit half-hearted in positioning itself as black/blue, if you get what I mean. With that said, I like the pairing with the black sneakers. So maybe at the end of the day the problem (if there is any) just lies in the colour combination.

Lastly, can I request for the handsome cat to be featured more often in your photos please?

Christian, really dig fits with first pair of sneakers. it's actually best point of ccp sneaks, that could work with formal suits better than with more casual fits.
