Turning into the janitor from the far future you wanted to be?
"He described this initial impetus as like discovering that they both were looking at the same intriguing specific tropical fish, with attempts to understand it leading to a huge ferocious formalism he characterizes as a shark that leapt out of the tank."

And thanks Heirloom! Do you have the long sleeved version or the sleeveless version? I have the sleeveless version, and I find that whenever I pair it with the skirt, it needs something to counterbalace all the elogation that's going on (the shoulders on the jacket in this case). But I feel like the long sleeved one could work on its own
Endorphinz , If you took just one of those boxy jackets you own to the tailor & slimmed the sleeves down a little & took it in at the waist a few inches I think you would be very happy with the result.
Fuck you and your viewpoint, I hate this depoliticized environment where every opinion should be respected, no matter how moronic. My avatar was chosen just for you, die in a ditch fucker.

Would take years off you ...

this particular jacket was a find @ a thrift shop. it's by GGG an american union shop that made pretty nice tailored clothes. I boiled the jacket for about 40 mins and then threw it in a dryer on high for another 40. my attempt at recreating that worn, crumpled look. The process actually works very well, especially on sport jackets made from heavy woolens/tweeds. the garments usually hold up quite well and the piece goods really react in a positive manner. The problem is sizing.... of course the garment shrinks and that is an intended by product but the sleeves seem to shrink disproportionately.
the clothes cost nuthin and that affords me the luxury of experimenting
I am pretty happy with this jacket. I know it doesn't have waist suppression and the sleeves are a lil full but I can say I honestly dig it... feels great on and tho it might be boxy in comparison to more modern cuts, I like it.
The results with heavier goods are very promising. The color and texture of the "processed"fabric is really nice. I just have to get lucky with the shrink factor.
