Nice fit Jin. Slender man's silhoutte inspired.

Thanks for the compliments guys. @MikeN - this one fits biggest of my 3 macs. Its a size S, for this one you may/will want XS if it exists.

Fuuma love that MMM leather on you.
          Every time you wear it...
...Will I ever wear a leather [ever again]?

Shuit your layering, not to mention photos, is/are always so intricately and perfectly executed.

Thanks for posting a fit pic of that Devoa coat, I was about to request a fit pic in the recent purchases thread lol. How do you feel about the position of the button? It seems a little high, like the top button of a 2-button coat, to me it would look better if it were positioned 2 inches lower.

I'll have to disagree with you on the button stance, Raw. Any lower and it would pinch in at the waist too much.

I don't think it works as well as the previous standard 2 button coat daisuke knocked out each season though. Compared to other Devoa it feels a little clunky... or awkward.

A one-button coat should pinch more at the waist though no?

But yeah I think it would have been better if it had two buttons.

the problem inherent with the pinched waist on that particular coat is that it would turn it into an a-line silhouette.

edit: well, probably more of an hour glass, but you know what I mean

Awesome edwardb. Thanks for posting those macro shots of the washi fabric. It's beautiful!

As for the positioning of the button, it's actually perfect, not too constricting and at the right height, for blood flow and tummy flow after a few pints.

I love Devoa because of it's acute attention to detail with it's heightened anatomical procedure to create clothing that works "with" the bodies movement as opposed to against it. While other brands here on sz tend to act like a shield of protection for the wearer, they compromise in the execution of being actually worn, and in return, wear YOU out. Devoa invites your "inner" posturing to shine forth in a sort of angular clarity if you will.

in other words - great coat man

fuuma how do you find the bomber from Peir Wu?
I actually remember seeing her MA collection at CSM which was one of the stand outs for me that year. Followed her progression ever since. Did you try any of her ribbed jersey/organza bonded sweaters?
