I actually remember seeing her MA collection at CSM which was one of the stand outs for me that year. Followed her progression ever since. Did you try any of her ribbed jersey/organza bonded sweaters?
I really like the bomber, the breathable tech fabric works quite well and the cut is just so. Many of her pieces remind me of Balenciaga menswear, in the sense that they look like futuristic police uniforms, but she went the extra mile and got the materials to match her vision.

Here's a better shot of the jacket:

As for the bonded sweaters, I tried this one and the black, sleeveless vest, the laser cutting and hand application of the pattern is unlike anything I've but retail is not going to be pretty:

It is reminiscent of balenciaga and hints of Raf (she interned with him). Her lapel/collarless overcoat and denim jacket where also rather nice.
The sweaters and the technique she uses are standouts for me. When she made the first collection, everything was bonded and then sliced along the ribbing by hand. Quite laborious, so it's expected that retail will be quite high, especially if she is using silk organza.
      Definitely one to watch.

Sweaters are still done the same way. My jacket was made in her studio (probably by her).

(Disclosure: I took these for sales, but what I'm *really* wearing is all of this with simply the Rick Owens tunic dress switched out for my typical Ann D.)

This is not what I consider innovative styling on my part, rather, it's what I'm wearing as I work. Unlike the all AW1998 CDG getup I wore yesterday, replete with an asymmetrical corset , it's extremely comfortable and certainly on the casual spectrum of things. (edit: female goth ninja?)

it really is incredible. there's just enough of a fur coat vibe to get the point across without any pretense or ostentation. this whole outfit demonstrates rick's relevance and staying power as a designer. i feel that both this jacket and those original turbo trainers have yet to be superseded designwise by anyone including rick himself. until something more compelling comes along this remains the "uniform" and no matter how many times i look at it it just doesn't get old.

What season / model is that jacket exactly? Think I saw fuuma wearing it in a pic with mass way back when but haven't seen it anywhere else. Really gives off intense vibes.

                    BTW mirroring everything aka said.

Third. Saw it on Fuuma in Paris a few years ago and thought that the color is just the right amount of decadence.

MBD, that's such a great combination. love it with and without layers.

Fuuma jacket is super grail. I've so far seen it once at yjp but is intimidate by the fur collar. Is it removable?
