i say get the hat. since getting the blistered lamb version i havent worn a rick beanie in a while. i might even sell a few of them! the hat is a really good purchase and sometimes wearing a beanie in the summer makes one feel like a schmuck.

I don't even know where to start with comments like this; however I find it sad if you need approval from your wife. I understand the idea of being respectful, but it goes both ways. She does understand holding you back from how you really want to dress is not healthy. Right?

Shucks fit is pretty awesome and the shorts are not the typical RO "drastic" drop crotch; which I do wear as well. This is flawless. I'm not a cap person either, but this could persuade me into wearing one.
