it's the natural color of the leather on the interior of the hood which was left undyed either out of laziness or for extra artisanal impact...you can see the same detail on the sleeve. :)

I think its call Hand Dyeing. It hand dye from the surface of the leather. There are some area on the reserved side where you can see the dye penetrated into the pores ;)

I tried that jacket on yesterday at PNP and testify to it's extreme badass-ness. Stiff leather, could also work in autumn/ early winter.

It is indeed badass, the stitching on the hood and the back its insane plus its horse hide, longevity guarantee, def a Fall and Winter piece, AKA always on point

re0 that's such a dope pic with the skateboard ;D. makes me really want to get back into it even though it would be a bad idea for me. fucked up my left arm in the nastiest of ways a few years back and another break could leave me permanently impaired. the halfpipe is still as tempting as ever though.

yes, they hand dye a lot of the leather items, I believe the dye is applied straight to the leather by spraying or brushing, so its not soaked in dye.

was on a skate trip to china. came across a lot of monkeys and this one was trained to scoop anything shiny and take it back to master. he was all over my rings.
