Agreed. Pieces like this are at their best when used to add some visual depth by showing some of that longer hem under something else.

Vests serve the function of not adding uncomfortable bulk inside other sleeves while still allowing the wearer to layer. They lose their power when worn as, well, a vest.

mind giving me some recommendations though? i like to get opinions on how to improve. maybe the camera doesn't do the fit justice - you can hardly make out the the laser-etched pattern on the creepers or the laser cutting pattern on the shorts. it was in the high 80's today though. the only thing i wish could change is the aa t-shirt, but i think it works here. i have some more quality ones on the way though anyway.

blazer looks terrific!

would have liked to see this with the same shorts but some combats or other lower footwear. not sure why - maybe this look has too many long vertical lines now? but now i am nit-picking...
