I think you should shave a couple of inches off the legs so there is less stacking.
Also, those plain tees can make any outfit boring and are best used as an under layer. Speaking from experience.

Apologies for the wistful tone, but it is time to mark another birthday past with a portrait; a meditation on time’s passing and the potentialities for which we live because they *must* lie ahead.

and since our subject is garments and not so much time, I may as note my belief that styling makes for so much of an ensemble. This is the same Yohji Yamamoto apron skirt with velveteen folds and light lane wool as was worn here. The difference is that I am wearing a wool cap, a Helmut Lang tank and two oversize Golden Goose silk tanks that I have buttoned asymmetrically.

Dammit, MBD. Wistful + birthdays is so yesterday. (forgive the pun)

The beauty of potential is that it never lies ahead. It surrounds us, all of the time. It's no waiting game.

Which is why I disagree with your first proverb, but embrace the second one! Indeed, the beginnings of things cannot be distinguished with the eye. Luckily, we have the human heart as a much better guide. :)

p.s. I say, eat, drink, and be merry. On your birthday. And every day.

Looks good, happy birthday! I read once in a David Wallace story that Yohji's women's stuff stops draping as well after being dry cleaned a few times, I always wondered if that was true or if he had just made it up.

My yohji has been drycleaned countless times, and it hasn't changed at all as far as I can tell

"The Suffering Channel"-dude you have to read it. It's filled with the most awesome descriptions of editorial intern's clothing choices. I had no idea the guy was so in touch with avant-garde fashion.
