Layered wool/cotton over leather piece with a transition of texture by rolling up an outermost sleeves by 3/4 of my arms length; then stacked leather sleeves underneath slightly higher than the long-sleeves shirt inside. The silhouette is really nice and it's very cozy in this excruciating weather transition, too.

Pointless? The point is that a shirt wrapped around the waist is not categorically uncool as Faust suggests. In fact, Yasuhiro thought it was worth thinking about to the point of designing a piece of clothing that mimics the look. Notice the pocket at the hip.
