I like 'em a lot, but Tatsuro's penchant for excess fabric in the thigh area is somewhat less than flattering on my big waist. Just had some other Julius pants tailored for this very reason, but I'm a bit too scared to have these messed with.

Yea I'd definitely disrecommend doing that with those pants.

Although I've always thought that this particular cut (which seems to be the most frequently-adopted design for recent & pants) was actually meant for people with slightly thicker waist and thighs like myself . I just thought maybe Tatsuro realized that not all his customers has the same bony structure of the lookbook models.

But I do agree with faust that generally long/bulkier coats go better with this type of pants as 7 seems to be aiming for the oversized top + slim bottom + volumny footwear silhouette.
