As I said before it's only the rear profile (rickd) that Has... interesting proportions, imho.

The Ramones fill a different role. The didas, bring a sharper futuristic edge to an outfit.

Every fit of them I've seen where they "worked" involved tech-ish styling, visual weight mid-leg to balance them out, or both.

I wonder if they age gracefully, though. Geos and dunks looked "right" all dirty with their heels repaired. But these, I don't know, maybe time will tell.
