To Lost, thank you. I appreciate it.

Eleves--I currently live in Freeport, about 20 feet from the ocean. It's a much different pace of life than where I lived in downtown Manhattan. Freeport's main claim to fame is being the home of L.L. Bean. Your suppositions are mostly correct. I was much amused two years ago to meet a fellow who had heard of CCP and was familiar with Paul Harnden. He was quite a preppy little guy and worked as the art director for a small menswear label called Rogues Gallery, but I guess that's not too far off of the mark. That being said, Maine is extremely working class and with that comes a large punk and hardcore scene, but not the designer blacks you're familiar with. There is a buyer for a local menswear store that owns a recently acquired, but small smattering of UnderCover, Sruli, Dries and The Solo1st, but can't wear any of it at his job, which caters mostly to the nautical/workwear crowd ha

don't shorten them. tuck them into a boot. they're that long for a reason i believe and tucked in they can look pretty aggressive. i dont think the material really calls for a flush fit. i had a problem tucking because i felt it always made my feet look big (esp with julius boots) but just embrace it. otherwise get a belt

This is from the other day, just before going painting in the yards. Lately, my interests seem to be caught between this weird "post-Tumblr" Japanese street aesthetic and the standard SZ clothes. I struggle with that, particularly as I now live in Maine and have very little social interaction. As I've mentioned before, I do make most of my clothes, when I have the time, but the tee shirt is DRKSHDW. The shoes are some old Levi's Converse knockoffs that I dipped in rubber, several years ago, during a CCP obsessive phase in college and the vest and some of the patches are made from an old, black linen Hermès blanket that I got while working at a shop in Brooklyn, in my early twenties.

I just finished making this shirt, today and lined and added buttons to the vest, yesterday. In hindsight, I should have cut the buttonholes on the shirt significantly smaller, as the leather buttons I made are quite pliable and more suited for a downsized opening. The hat was made last week and features a wire brim. I suppose I should post all of this in the student work section, but my own stuff is what I generally wear. The fabric and buttons can be seen in closer detail here. Worn with some older Bass shoes, which were made locally, at the time.

This red, wool ensemble was actually inspired by a dusty red outfit of Zam's from a while back that I really loved the palette of. I wasn't able to replicate those exact hues, but colour is fun, every now and then. I have to re-teach myself how to make raglan sleeves, for these don't sit quite right in the pit and have some bunching when the jacket is donned and the arms pointed down. Again, the buttons on this are leather, but this time in a thick red. The pants are half lined and the jacket is fully lined with a back vent. The lining is in the same light, golden fabric as the vest above. It is worn with some crappy, beater George Esquivel shoes, which actually fit me wonderfully and better than the similar Carpe Diem boots I owned, but I'm not a fan of the heavily rounded toe-cap.
            Red outfit is great.
Selling CCP, Harnden, Raf, Rick etc.

^ I only own this military shirt and a pair of heavy cargos. I won't say that I'm completely convinced by his aesthetics - his use of colors and patterns is a bit jarring to my taste and from what I can see his choice of materials is not exactly refined, but I like some of the bold silhouettes he creates.

I can see how you link him to Frank Leder.

looks great shucks! zipper synergy is on point and cargo baskets look really clean in the silhouette.
