there's a weird genie in a bottle thing happening...
maybe u should try shooting it from a different angle or something.

I'm taiwanese so in theory i have chinese blood in me, having informed u of this I still think u should burn that chinese shirt unless ur collecting for the mob or on a cruise.

              to be constructive..
I would say some structured pants would help, sometimes too much draping only works for the super tall super thin people of the world. And stronger footwear could help reenforce some solid lines so that the drapey shirts can do their thing, all drape sometimes can give the look of a muumuu and i don't think that's what ur going for.

I don't really buy into this whole "fashion" and "summer" thing, mostly been in flip-flops and shorts when it gets around the mid 30s

Here's some shots from the cooler days of the past week...

Standing in front of a wall alone in my house:

                Uni-qlo linen
                Kolor
                A1923

                Relaxing in a fake bath:

                Wjk hat
                Robert Geller denim shirt
                Rick tank
                Kolor pants
                Guidi derbies removed

Not muumuu... but in summer, i usually like loose fits. Well i really like loose in generale because of the comfort but more so in summer heat.

What kind of stronger footwear are you thinking about ?

Hard to make the high breaking long jacket work, M-M. But you are doing it.

(Unless you have to keep your left hand in your pocket all day to make it work!)

Thanks ! I think I know what you mean by "breaking" : flared ?
This one is cut straight, actually. So it is quite easy to handle.

I mean it as the highest buttoning point on the jacket. I'm not sure if the term is used much any more in tailoring.

OK, I see. The fact that the first button is placed high actually induces a slight flaring - but nothing wide pants and a flowing shirt can't deal with.

Here a slight variation without the dubious hand trick.

I like that even more, the sort of hourglass shape it makes with the shirt and looks like the lapel/first button has some nice depth/roll or what have you.
