dear majestic map.
i'm not trying to be an ass here, but my little brain is finding this particular ensemble to be difficult to comprehend. it seems intentionally incongruous. and i don't mean juxtaposed or asymmetrical or unexpected or anything like that. i mean it looks like a bunch of pieces that have literally nothing in common just thrown together in an effort to appear creative, but instead appears messy and confusing. can u explain? what am i missing here.
and schuur i have to agree, that is too much stacking and those boots are not right for that outfit.
as far as the boot-tuck in general goes, i can't stand it. but faust on the other hand seems quite dedicated to it, especially when it concerns those beloved rick creepers. so i guess to each his own...hehe.
In regards to the tuck/untucked debate: It's often best to steer clear of it if the pants are tight-fitting. You can often get away with it if they're black, though.
The tuck is great though because it allows boots to contribute their whole shape to your silhouette instead of being swallowed up.

I am a backer of the boot-tuck! My favorite boots to tuck into are also Rick creepers (bought from you CJ) Although, with some pants I might get more stacking than I would like, I also like the idea of the whole boot shape adding to a silhouette. I also find that when I haven't had the time to get a pair of pants altered (shortened for the most part), the tuck looks better than the super bagginess that would occur if I were to wear them untucked!
Shuit, good stuff. You're pretty much the guy for those Ann shoes, I've never seen anyone else pull em off as well as you do!
