I knew I had seen that VW hat somewhere before Warg showed up with his closet. Spotted this on Adam Katz Sinding's blog awhile back.

The hat isn't the main problem here, clearly. The silhouette doesn't hold - the pants are rolled up too high to match the length of the coat, the way the scarf is disposed is too symetrical, the shoes seem too light in comparison with the rest, the sleeves look too short...

Plus, trying to include something as humorous as this oversized hat in that otherwise stern outfit wasn't a good move either.

Agree with Mail-Moth's entire dissection of that last look. Surprised you were able to see past the hat; most would likely give the 'fit an automatic pass based solely on the confidence implied by simply wearing one in the first place!

^ Ah yes, this whole thing about self-confidence and bold moves and whatnot. I fail to see the point.

Warg wears his hat in a way which shows hom much fun he's having with clothes - but which demonstrates at the same time how well he knows his stuff (I don't see any flaws in his fits, whether you like the result or not, and that includes the use of the hat).

This guy above may love clothes too, but he doesn't seem to know what he's doing with them. Being self-confident in these conditions may end up being a bit embarrassing.
