i haven't seen that version, so was curious what the coloring was like. i'd much prefer a solid color than the iterations i've seen. i'm by no means blind, but it's a bit hard to tell in a black and white photo.

It's probably the nicest leather I have handled from any brand (have not handled CCP leather jackets however). It is very thick, very juicy lamb with superior grain. Chunky Lampo zipper, made in Italy, nice cotton lining, etc. etc. When I bought it I did not see the tag for a few seconds and was flabbergasted by the maker. It is older early 2000's Armani mainline. Only piece of Armani clothing I own. I think it fits well within the scope of things being posted here, save for the label. Would you not agree?

I think that depends on whether you think something is relevant based on how it looks/feels vs what it represents. A lot of non-SZ fashion houses have great leathers, it's not like they're all selling junk and only artisan stuff is good. If look/feel is enough to be worth posting to SZ, though, doesn't that open the door not just to status labels but to knockoffs as well?

I don't really have an opinion on this FWIW, except I thought the jacket looked nice and I'm glad you were honest about the label.
