I don't understand the dislike of the sneakers. They don't look very different from drips and go decently with the outfit. I think it would look much better if the pants were a bit longer though.

Yes, one can't escape being *something*. And I'm pretty comfortable with my clothes these days and the ways I can wear them--seem to have found the Hegelian synthesis between my older suited schtick (years and years ago) and my more recent Rick/etc. jaunt (last few years). So yeah, as I said I can live with being "that guy" (whichever "that guy" I am).



Dunno if I agree. Hate the sneaks, but that seems to be my mantra, so I should just shut up or put it as my sig. Otherwise, looks comfortable and I like the bagginess of the jeans. Not a "hit it out of the park" fit, but a solid comfortable one (sneaks aside).

Yes: I was heading to labour's day bbq, so it's surely a comfy & daily outfit
But instead of long black t-shirt & black pod shorts & black ramones, sometimes I like it dyed and rusty... Still s-z related, I think...

As for the pants, I'm usually not a fan of DRKSHDW jeans (the leg is too large on most of them), but I like the bagginess of this pair, so -with a lil' modification- I think these works well.
At the end, I like the dying/rusty feel and proportions of this clothes: long tshirt with big shoulders + jeans with baggy crotch, with short & slim legs + sneakers with double sole and slim ankle --> makes me look taller and thinner...

ps: this autum, I'll surely change the sneakers for Marsell combat boots!

I think that's what it is. The jacket and maybe the shoes seems inconsistent with dyed and and rusty look. Maybe switching out one or both would make it cohesive enough. Not that you asked me, of course, just discussing to try and sort this out. I know this kind of thing can make some people feel super self-conscious.

And yes, dying on the jacket is not so evident in pic; also, the shoes may seem a lil' too shiny, altought the soles have a more evident brushed effect, when seen live...
