Based on the Home Page someone who wandered across this site may not realize that it is only for CCP, m.a.+, RO, Carpe etc.
You know perfectly well that it's not only about this small list of designers or else you wouldn't be posting here. If anything it's about an aesthetic. Ilurked on this site for months before making a single post. Sometimes I wish others would do the same.
I know it's not; but, for the sake of the conversation had you stumbled across the site without lurking for a few weeks you really wouldn't get that from the front page.

do you mean that if you dont like something,it shouldn't "accepted" here? I think thats kind of over the top..

I think you summed it up very well. No more hate please--this is supposed to be an open-minded forum.[72]

Completely agreed. Let the forum be not restrictive.

I really don't understand poeple who post in here without at least lurking for a while and seeing what the site is about.
Would
they go into a pub/bar and walk up to a group of strangers and start
interrupting their conversation with their opinions? It's just common
courtesy.

It is, and there is to be honest.
It's
true of 99% of fora, and SZ is no worse than any other (better than a
lot of them). But if you read the forum even for a few days you get a
good idea of who's been here the longest, and who is particularly well
thought of. It's only natural to have a hierarchy, anyone is more
likely to listen more to people they've (e-)known for a while over
strangers.

But it really is rude, imo, to show up, post a picture of yourself and demand "constructive feedback," without having contributed anything to the site or even indicating that you are interested in what the forum is about. Particularly when you have a habit of repeating the same behaviour in the waywt threads of other fashion forums... [79]
