yah I did. Though it's kind of a funny story how i ended up with that exact shawl. I actually wanted one all in black, but the silk actually only comes in bales roughly 1m wide. Since i wanted something way larger I had to sew things together, but I figured it would kinda look a bit patch-worky if there was a seam right in the middle of an all black shawl (uh.. or ma-like hihi). So i was kinda looking for alternatives... and to cut a long story short, this is the abstracted version of an older shawl. It's probably hard or impossible to see now, but that older scarf was inspired by Monet's Nympheas (something i did for my mother back then). </P>


With this oneI tried to get something fluent, but also translucent - so the stacking of fabric(detail here),seams, hems and all that working together would sort of re-create that effect that makes those later Monet pictures so interessting.(it's very hard to capture that on a picture though...no motion, no movement :P). What i mean is, thatit sometimes gets hard to tell lilly's, mirrowing images of trees and water apart. they all sorta stack upon another.Now if I suceeded I dunno, but it does not really matter cuz I like the outcome. :P</P>

Suit looks great matthewhk, you do loose fitting extremely well.</p>

Really liking Noerml's look too, would say shawls are quite hard for men to wear without looking a bit "try-hard" but you pull it off beautifully (I did also like the RO flag/shawl someone wore a while back that's on the front page).</p>
