Albert... Better get them quick! Samurai's are being pulled from the shelves as we speak, although they still had them at Blue in Green when I went yesterday. They'll still be produced, but just without the arcuates, as well as other details taken from Levi's.

...too bad I lost my LMaltieri freeform hat... my ears were about to fall off on the walk to the hospital! I'm gonna be dropping a bid for the one on ebay!

yeah. Literally the first expensive piece of clothing that I've ever lost. I wore it out to dinner once and when I got back into the car I took it off and put it on my lap. After I parked the car and got out it must have just fallen onto the street without me noticing (nighttime).

Apparently the next morning my girlfriend was taking the car to work and she said she vaguely recalls seeing a dark piece of fabric on the ground next to the car but it didn't strike her as my hat (she didn't even know it was gone at that point) so she just drove to work.

When I got home we looked on the street for it... but it was gone. Likely picked up by street cleaners. So.... in some landfill right now there is a $300 knit hat.

Yikes.... I wasn't happy about that one for a couple of days. I'm always afraid of losing accessories. It's pretty hard to lose a shirt, pants or shoes... you'll notice that you're half-naked pretty quick!

sorry to hear about the hat, Albert. that royally sucks, and that is exactly why I pull back every time I have an urge to buy a pair of expensive gloves. i lose them... like gloves.

oh, and Faust, your thesis tidbit inspired me to order some Barthes & Goffman; studying sociology myself and will probably do a research assignment based on the theories, thanks :D
