october 1st is ever closer, and I am (have been) pretty sure pip isn't gonna post; but I'm hoping that maybe this waywt offering, meager though it may be, will go some distance towards appeasing the pgods, and stop pnod from leaving for good. because we'll miss him, or at least I will. and I've been meaning to do this for awhile now anyway, so, without further ado, my first waywt:

sometimes life throws signs at you and you can't not ignore what life tells you to do...
today at the new york film festival i was watching a chilean film "tony manero" about a pathological character who tries to become chile's tony manero (john travolta in saturday night fever) during Pinochet's evil rule. in his path he leaves four or five victims, ruthlessly butchering them in the most mundane ways as the rest of his family and life around him unravels in hunger for self satisfaction , a finger pointing to the sky, a lot like the other tony---tony montanas rise to the top.
i reflected upon the legacy of pnod vs. pipcleo for a moment then, and then forgot about it. but the reason i bring this up is because the first time i saw maldoror at A (before i knew who he was) he was buying those grey ccp derbys. tonight, i was wearing those grey ccp derbys at the festival. and now you've posted your derbys as a peace offering. well, looks like the universe is telling me to stay for a little while longer.

I like it too (and the flickering pose !). The tissu of the trousers looks wonderfull (velvet ?). Colour of the jacket is nice too (dark burgundy ?).
