Mama mia! Are you trying to insult my Italian heritage? That's racist and out of line!

thanks to all for the compliments.

and I knew the styling on the ccp scarf was going to get me in some trouble! truth be told it's just a scarf, and one which you've probably seen before. It's sewn together from two suit sleeves which are connected at the shoulder. although it seems kind of gimmicky, it actually makes amazing ergonomic sense, because the curve in each sleeve combined with the thickness of the material causes it to drape with a surprising solidity, unparalleled by any other scarves I've encountered. this makes it ideal for elaborate spiraling/styling because it holds its shape so well and naturally curves around the neck and head.

also, this piece has supreme sentimental value because it was the first piece of ccp I purchased on my first visit to atelier. kind of a watershed moment, and certainly the beginning of the end.

I'll post some pictures of it later when I get home.

ok can we try something? rather than saying this does not do this or this makes someone look like whatever, how about some constructive criticism.

I think this look could be improved by...

                  I think the color combination...

Perhaps the sizing is not quite right here, have you considered...

get the drift? come on. please be respectful.

I dunno, I think people are getting a little sensitive about criticism. Yes it hurts to have your outfit dissed, but if you're posting a photo, shouldn't you expect feedback? I agree with Kira about being constructive though, there's no need to be mean and insulting. With that in mind, I think it's the all black with white shoes that makes the CCP look guido.

I agree with Kira, of course. No problem with criticism, but it has to be motivated. It's not only a matter of respect, it's a question of intellectual rigour.

I like it very much. Very elegant outfit, with an aristocratic wearing. Nice association between, on one side, the formal full butonned skirt (double collar ?), and on the other, the loose pants and the casual (but elegant though) sneakers. And the black and white combination isn't common, as it could have been expected.
