I know it's one of those absurd "fashion" rules but it's something that effects me / a question I like to pose: does blue with black make an outfit look strange to you? Even blue jeans with a black t-shirt looks somewhat unusual to me - I'm pretty dogmatic about it when I personally dress which is difficult since I essentially have to divide my wardrobe into two sections that don't really mix (as a lot of my outwerwear / sweaters and whatnot are navy).

I personally never wear my indigo jeans with anything black : my wardrobe is indeed divided into two sections like yours Servo, but perhaps are we both "dogmatics" Blue jeans are great with white/grey/brown shoes and light tops.
But, I must say that "electric" blue is one of the most suitable color to pair with black imho...

First the colour gradation grey/black/patent black ( leather ) for the top. Then the matching beetween your hair and your boots ( with black boots that could have been vulgar because you carry leather handles )
And to finish, the "female touch" ( i don't know how to say that in english sorry ) with the skirt and especially what arises from the top...( I saw the matching with your nails !! )
( I try to perfect my english do not be nasty )
