i have those va pants and there super comfortable cotton/linen blend i got a size 2, i think you might have different pants, these have a seam along the back of the leg too.

there are a few variations from different seasons. mine are from last s/s, they're cotton and a size 4, but I have to say they are super comfortable regardless of being slim and not stretchy, I dont know how/why but thats why they're my favourite pair.
