pip your right iv often wanted to buy one of these hats, whenever i have tried them on im my local hat shop iv found i just cant wear them due to my hair.

have quite a nice selection also sometimes exclusives to that shop.
Its in Shoreditch, Hoxton about 2 minutes away from the square the guys in there are really nice and i always find myself strolling in if its sunny after a day of sunday park boozing, if your after a hat then they probally have best selection in the city.
I don't know if it is still open but they had a bit of a short term space in Liberty for a while but i think was only for a month or so, if its still up it will be coming to an end. But haven't spoken to the guy for a while so it could becoming permanent.

This season they have some nice beanies and washed cotton hats with wire inside so you can play about with the shape, worth a visit next time your here.

quantity of hair? are you guys crazy pretty much all the men from that collection had long hair and the hats looked great. i don't think the 'newpaper boy' nod works with the rest of the ann garments here. you have to be careful when you mix the japanese take on ann with the traditional poet boy stuff.

I would say it's a pretty big difference between long flat hair and medium long hair that bunches up like a mushroom on top of the head... if you catch my drift.

Gunjah, I can't help but hate on the hat. I know it's a very Ann look, but those sort of "caps" have been so thoroughly co-opted by the trashy (at least on the east coast of the states) it throws everything else off.
