The forward angling of the torso and head, the jut of the jaw and fall of the hair all point to that same convergence in the center; the tension of the straight fingers explodes out from the center. The black and white of the outfit, the black and white tiles and the starkness of the lighting create tension between the living subject and the cold mathematics of the environment.
