awesome snafu! bonus marks for not putting rubber protection on the soles of your boots. i don't like when you guys do this.
It's not really apparent when you put on the thin ones, especially since they sand the soles to remove some of the barely there added height. I do have some shoes were I only have them add metal toe taps.
see, i told you women don't like it when you use the rubber.
Well,
"boots" is actually jamaican Slang for (Rubber) Condoms, as a penis is often described as a "third leg'

Thanks Zamb, I guess that's the key phrase, if I would wear it more I should get it tailored. Just wondering if I'm crazy and should accept the shirt the way it is.
I'm curious if you've handled much Ervell in person what you think of the quality? I agree, his runway shows haven't impressed me in a long time. But he has some of the highest quality basics for the price IMO. For example, the pants in the first pic are very slim unforgiving wool twill that would have torn apart where it a lesser constructed pant, and the jacket is hand made w/ partial silk lining.
Yes Ive handled it, been awhile , but I did go to check it out at BBlessing on the lower east side a few seasons ago..........thought the quality was pretty decent at the time, dont know what it is now, if its the same /better/worse.
what I do know is that I dont find the peices impressive in neither design, nor fit, which to me is different from quality as per construction.
It seems to fit you well though

it's a matter of practicality, not aesthetics. if i did not do that, i would ruin all of my footwear really fast. and i don't know how often you look at footwear soles - I don't....

not to mention slipping and sliding all over the show.
I am torn on the subject. To me leather-soled shoes are inexplicably sexier than rubber-soled shoes. I can't say why.
On the other hand, I put rubber soles on all my shoes now, because I have ruined too many pairs that I liked. Even more so now that I am wearing more expensive footwear.
So I can understant men that do it, but will always have a soft spot for those who don't
i love the sound of leather soled boots on marble floors in big open air halls.. that's why i shy away from adding protective soles.. It's just that beautiful of a sound
