The problem I am having with HOF is that it's ending up to be a 10 people club. I don't care - it's about good fits - but I am sure from the side it will look off-putting.Fashion is a form of ugliness so intolerable that we have to alter it every six months - Oscar Wilde

True, when I first came to SZ it did seem that way. It doesn't help that most SZ members also share a similar style, further emphasizing the air of 'club'.
re: ivans, like the blazer when cuffed, is there some forearm sleeve detail going on? always love the shape of CDG blazers when fully buttoned

I've never had quite enough time to go through 1503 pages of WAYWT fits, but I wish I had an easy, organized way to view more excellent fits in one place. And yeah - even using the phrase "Hall of Fame" around here is starting to controversial. I, too, would like to avoid the tinge of "exclusivity" and clubbiness that comes with HOF, but I also want to see every memorable fit of the last five years. Perhaps it's unavoidable to some extent.
I'm fine with anything -- I'll get around to going through the fives years of back postings during the holidays or something -- but it wouldn't be bad to replace "Hall of Fame" with a thread "Memorable Fits" with sub-threads for people whose collective body of fits have lead others nominating them to the "hall of fame." (those are scare quotes) It could be a place where the "best of" fits of some members could go in one sub-thread....then pages of single memorable fit photos from people without their own sub-threads? I'll admit this is only a half-formed thought...

Originally posted by merzactually, i wonder if someone here obsessively saves some of these photos - i'd really like to recover avantster's and minomni's ccp coat/destroyed scarf image. honestly felt that one to be the apex of this thread's long history.
Another one that can be added:

I've always kept a personal HOF collection from this thread, and I'm sure many others have as well. So if SZ wanted to go into the direction of archiving the memorable waywts (although the ownership problem might be an issue like merz said) I'm sure nominations of archive-worthy fits would come up - making whole process easier.
